Facilitated a remarkable two-year collaboration between artist-in-residence Judy Baca, a local civic group, and the County of Santa Barbara Parks Department. A small agricultural town in central California without an acknowledged history, the resulting four-part mural depicting the Guadalupe allegory brought together diverse cultural groups in this small town to articulate a common history and created an enduring sense of community empowerment.
